Located at the foot of Alpilles, with two steps of the historical village of St Rémy of Provence, the Villa Glanum accomodates you in the heart of its garden of Provençal scents. Name of the Roman site very close, this house drawn by Van Gogh, inhabited by Daudet, became a hotel of 25 rooms. The Country house, turned towards the Antique and Triumphal arch, merges with its garden of umbrella pines, the cypresses proudly drawn up towards the sun, and centenaries olive-trees. A park of more than one hectare, dedicated to Provence receives you with its Mediterranean trees: secular umbrella pines, plane trees, cypresses, aromatic plants... In the heart of the garden, the swimming pool accomodates you to rest under an olive-tree. Bushes of rosemary or lavender perfume the air heated by the sun of Provence. The long chairs await you for one afternoon of relaxation. The large swimming pool
(15x6m) is entirely closed and is accessible to the children accompanied by an
adult. The property is enclosed, a carpark is at your disposal, accessible apart from the opening hours from the reception with an access code. |
